Super Drooper Mountaineering and Caving Club
For ex-UEA FACCers and their mates - interested in hillwalking, climbing, caving, mountain biking, skiing, sailing and many other outdoor sports - in a very relaxed and informal manner.
- Founded end of May Bank Holiday 1995 at the Plough Inn, Hathersage - on a sunny evening after way too many beers
- Member-club of the British Mountaineering Council (SDMCC are automatically members of the BMC but can upgrade to Individual Membership if they wish)
- Monthly trips to various parts of the UK - camping from May to Sept and mountain hut or commercial hostel trips during the winter
- Communal cooking with vegetarian and other special diets catered for
